This uke sounds as bright as it looks. It was an upgrade from my beginner uke; the quality and craftsmanship are notably better. The sound is clear, clean, and bright, without being overwhelmingly bright. It sounds good playing chords and tabs. For a tenor, I don’t find pressing down on the strings particularly difficult. There’s plenty of wiggle room for imperfect placement between frets, which is helpful as a beginner to intermediate player. It’s also pretty easy to get a nice loud sound that’s still clear, when strumming. I’ve found that difficult on some beginner ukes.

As far as looks go, the pop of color is so fun! And the wood grain and other little details are really nice, too. My only aesthetic gripe is the bit of fabric. It’s functional, but I wish it was something other than gray. I would remove it, but don’t want to mess up the paint job or expose unsightly adhesive.

It was also super great that it came with so many extras! The tuner works much better than the one I was using, and I appreciated the inclusion of a strap.

10/10 purchase. Highly recommend.

Shipped the concert instead of the tenor. Customer service was good. They gave me the option of returning the concert. Shipments from Australia to US sit in customs for an indeterminate length of time. Could have taken two weeks going and two weeks coming. So I kept the concert. The concert is a nice uke. But, I regret not waiting for the tenor. The concert is very very bright.

I never heard of Bondi Ukulele but decided to take a chance and I’m very glad I did ! The Anuenue ukulele I wanted was shipped from Australia and Bondi kept me appraised of every step on its way to the U S. The uke arrived safely abd I am extremely pleased with the set up and she plays well. Thank you for your quick response times and the excellent set up!

Just got a aNueNue UT10 Living Coral Tenor Ukulele and its really nice. The coral color is so pretty, different from my other ukes. It sounds sweet and playing it is comfy. The size is just right for me. Love playing it, its been a great buy.
