Our review

Oak is one of the woods you’d not normally see on ukuleles, but here at Bondi, we try out lots of crazy stuff to see how well they will work. To our surprise and everybody’s elses, along came this amazing series of ukuleles made from Oak. I present the Bondi Ukuleles Tiger Oak series.

🎶 It has the same rich tone as mahogany, but brighter. It captures everybody’s attention with its unique stripping on the top, back, and sides and is complemented with an ebony fretboard and bridge, Ceasar Herringbone for binding and rosette, and an inlayed logo giving it a traditional, yet exceptional overall look. Tuning stability is made possible with Silk Chrome tuners too.

🌟 The Tiger Oak series sports a natural matte finish that provides comfortable neck navigation. This series has it all from being a good looker to a great-playing ukulele and an out-of-the-box kind of style that you don’t normally see on ukuleles.

My firs ukelele from Bondi

Previously I had a cheap soprano one from a different brand and when I received this one what a difference, it fits perfectly for my large hands and the sound wow really amazing, I bought it with the Low-G string and love the deep sound. The customer service is on point. All was good, they included some goodies. No complaints!

I cannot say enough good about it.

One great selling point is the buy-one-give-one program, providing a ukulele and instruction to a classroom teacher in Cambodia. Check it out on the website. As to the instrument: I love that it is made in Australia, not China. The wood is thin and lightly finished, allowing great resonance, volume, and sustain. The tiger oak is gorgeous. Superior build with details such as wooden rails attached to sides of fretboard allowing the player to slide his hand up and down the neck without worry of scratching his hand on the fret ends. It has obviously been thoughtfully and carefully built. Easy to play right out of the box due to expert set-up. I highly recommend Bondi without hesitation.

HUGE hit! Perfect gift!

My family has purchased a total of 4 ukuleles here at Bondi. They look great, sound great, and are so much fun. My three youngest kids each got one for Christmas and it has been a blast ever since. With the variety of ukuleles and cases it was easy to find something for each of their personalities and each have their own ukulele kit so there's nothing else you have to buy separately. The ukulele isn't necessarily easy to play but they're so much fun that my kids are learning without even realizing it. Christmas morning was AWESOME with the three of them all trying to learn chords together.
This was by far my most enjoyable purchase in years. Emy was the most helpful salesperson I've encountered in my entire life and the whole team there seems friendly and eager to help. With the lifetime warranty it seems impossible to go wrong doing business with Bondi. We will continue to shop with them whenever we need anything.
Thanks again Emy and to the entire crew there at Bondi.

Glad I went "Exotic" and experimented with Oak

First, the items in the bundle are useful, educational and fun!
I was surprised to find a ukulele made of oak, an unusual tone material for any instrument!
The ukulele is pretty and gets lots of compliments on the color, binding and texture of the wood.
The instrument has a bright attractive sound on both the high and low notes...that actually causes me to practice more!!
The sound gradually matured as the oak wood acclimatized to the Texas coastal humidity and also as the strings stretched to stay in tune.
The strings / fretboard are set up correctly for easy playing.
Good Sound, Good Looks, Good Instrument, Good Investment, Good Folks to deal with.....
Thank you,
Mike Marty
